Sipadan, Diver’s Paradise

Ever since I got my Open water, Sipadan is in the top of my bucket list. Over the past few decades, it has established itself as one of the world’s top dive spots – and arguably the best in the whole of Southeast Asia. Among divers, it is famed for its massive schools of fish, spiralling barracudas, schooling reef sharks, mantas and eagle rays – and, of course, one of the highest concentrations of green and hawksbill turtles anywhere in the world. Diving in the pumping current here is spectacular

Note: Divers require a permit to dive in Sipadan. Each permit is valid for 1 day only. Permits are to be attained from dive resorts. Kindly enquire directly with them if you wish to dive in Sipadan.
