Visiting Holy Trinity Cathedral in Tbilisi is worth it even if you're not religious. It's huge - the biggest church in Georgia - and sits up on a hill with great views of the city. I took a taxi up (it's a steep walk), but you could also take the metro to Avlabari station and walk from there.
Inside, it's all marble and gold, with massive chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. It feels very grand but still peaceful. People were lighting candles and praying when I visited, so it's good to stay quiet. Women need to cover their heads, no shorts are allowed.
The area around the cathedral is nice too, with gardens to walk through. You don't need more than 30-40 minutes here unless you want to sit and take in the atmosphere. It's free to enter, which is always a plus.
