Wat Tham Suea, also known as the Tiger Cave Temple, it's one of the most beautiful temples in Kanchanaburi Province, Thailand. This buddhist temple is renowned for its serene atmosphere, stunning natural surroundings, and spiritual significance.
Wat Tham Suea features spectacular Buddha statues, and mixed, splendid Thai-Chinese style temple complexes, as well as other religious and cultural artifacts. The large Golden Buddha image (18- meter-tall) which nestled on a hilltop. The temple complex includes caves adding an adventurous element to the visit.
The temple is surrounded by padi fields, greenery and limestone mountains, offering breathtaking views. The ascent to the mountain peak involves climbing over 200 steep steps, which can be physically demanding, especially in hot weather. However, the effort worthwhile for the views and sense of accomplishment, rewards with panoramic vistas of the surrounding landscapes.

🍀 Wear comfortable shoes and bring water for the climb.
🍀 Dress modestly, as it is a religious site.
🍀 Visit early in the morning or late afternoon to avoid the heat and crowds.
🍀 There is a tram to go up and return for just 20฿.
🍀 The temple located at Tha Muang District, away from Kanchanaburi city around 15 km or 25 minutes drive. There is no public transport to Wat Tham Suea, so the best way is call a Grab car.
