A Hike to Remember in Thimphu -Kuenselphodrang National Park

We started our morning at the iconic Buddha Point in Kuenselphodrang National Park. Our guide purposely brought us there earlier than most hikers, so the path was blissfully quiet — we barely saw anyone until the very end, when we crossed paths with a group of Western tourists heading the other way.
The hike took just over an hour through peaceful forested trails, with glimpses of Thimphu’s rolling hills peeking through the trees. It was a refreshing and serene start to the day.
The hike was moderately difficult- difficult as in there were some parts that was dangerous since there were no guardrails. But easy as in it was relatively flat throughout, so it’s a good start to get used to the Bhutan terrain and the altitude before you attempt
The Tiger Nest Monastry hike. Safe to say, this was one of the Bhutan highlight I’ll never forget.
