Hot While Walking, Cold While Sleeping, But the View is the Reward

The path of challenge and joy with every step

The first step of trekking to the summit of Khao Chang Phueak, located in Thong Pha Phum National Park, Kanchanaburi Province, is a journey into a route that is both beautiful and challenging. Spanning over 16 kilometers, the trail passes through forests, mountains, and a narrow ridge known as the "Knife's Edge," which tests both physical and mental endurance.

Along the way, trekkers can be seen scattered at intervals, each taking steady steps, braving the fatigue, the heat of the afternoon sun, and the occasional strong winds pushing against them.

Sweat trickling down their backs does not deter anyone, as the reward is the breathtaking panoramic view of overlapping mountain ranges, sunlight glinting off treetops, and a sky that changes hues with time. As the sun gradually sets beyond the horizon, the scene becomes so stunning that all exhaustion is forgotten.

At night on the summit, the air is freezing cold, and strong winds blow relentlessly. Yet amidst the chill lies tranquility and a humbling sense of being a small part of the vast grandeur of nature.

Looking back at the path taken, every step and every drop of sweat transforms into priceless memories that will never be forgotten.
