Beijing Weekend Escape Plan (2/100) Seagull Concentration Loaded

Even more than the European-style bridge along the Haihe River, I love its autumn and winter romance 🕊️

The Siberian seagulls arrived as expected, and I enjoyed a cup of coffee while watching the sea at the Haibo Museum of the Sea ☕. The vibrant aroma of pancakes and fried cakes 🌯 on the street made me want to go back again and again 📍Tianjin

🗺️ About our two-day weekend itinerary:
1️⃣ Saturday: 🚄 Take Beijing South C2559 [8:01-9:03] to Binhai Station (multiple trains available) - 🚗 30-minute taxi ride 📍 Maritime Museum - 🚗 20-minute taxi ride 📍 Dongjiang Haixin Park - 🚇 Tianjin Hometown
2️⃣ Sunday: Wudadao - Binjiangdao - Century Clock Square - 🚄 Return to Tianjin Station (frequent trains)
·
🎈 Travel Guide:
📍 National Maritime Museum: 🔍 Make an appointment in advance at the National Maritime Museum. There's a map at the second-floor service center. 📄 Take the escalator under "Ocean Civilization" on the second floor, down to the first floor, then take the escalator up the other end to the second floor where you'll find the large window overlooking the sea. 📸
📍 Dongjiang Qinhai Park: Go around 1 PM 🍞 Bring bread 👉🏻 for a long-awaited encounter with Siberian seagulls
📍 Tianjin Hometown: Ancient charm, with crosstalk performances and cultural and creative activities
📍 Fifth Avenue: Navigate to Gedalou and first visit the "sister" of the Porcelain House. 🪞 Walk south to north through the relaxing Minyuan Square to the carriage boarding area. 🐴 You can take photos of the red carriages. Across from it is the Dalong Post Office. 🏤 There are refrigerator magnets.
📍 Riverside Road: After seeing the Porcelain House, 🏠 it's still beautiful. ❗ It's said that It used 700 million pieces of ancient Ming and Qing porcelain. Nearby, there's also Nanlou pancakes, Erduoyan fried cakes (with red bean paste, black sesame, and chocolate), and ripe pear cakes on carts...
📍Century Clock Square: Right next to Tianjin Station

🏨Accommodation Guide:
We recommend staying near the Haihe River or along Binjiang Road for beautiful night views and easy walking distance.

❤️Tips:
1️⃣ The Binhai New Area is windy, so dress warmly. 🧥
2️⃣ Parking in the city is difficult, so walking is recommended.
