Even if you don't know anything about Keith Haring, I'm sure many people will understand when they see his work...?
Based on the belief that "art is for everyone," he was an artist who sent a strong message to society by spreading art in everyday life, such as subway stations and streets in New York in the 1980s.
He passed away from complications of HIV, living only 31 years. Of that time, he was active as an artist for only about 10 years. In the short time he had left, he worked on activities to eradicate HIV and proactively worked for children who will lead the future. It makes me think even more when I think that he is the same age as me now...

This is a special exhibition where you can experience Haring's art through about 150 pieces, including a large piece that is 6 meters tall. It's a unique exhibition where you can hear the sound of the subway as soon as you enter. There was also an exhibition of subway drawings drawn on vacant subway billboards, which were on display in Japan for the first time.

There are many works with unique bright and pop colors and touches, so even people who are not familiar with art can enjoy it.
