K5 Hotel

#東京酒店 The HOTEL K5 that I booked casually is actually hidden in my favorite Nihonbashi! As soon as I arrived at the door, I was attracted by the total look. The bicycles and bamboo installations matched my suitcase inexplicably. Unfortunately, the street was too narrow to take a lot of photos. I could only use my phone to freeze this moment. 📸
When checking in, we were told that the breakfast room was temporarily closed, so we had to call room service. But as soon as I walked into the room, I was instantly attracted to her! The matte-textured switches, perfectly proportioned design, and no unnecessary logos are a boon for people with obsessive-compulsive disorder. The tiles and mini basin in the bathroom create a wonderful spark with the coldness of cement and the warmth of wood! Although there is a busy elevated road outside the window, the combination of metal and wooden windows instantly isolates the outside noise.
The stained glass and abundant green plants in the corridor really capture the atmosphere of an "urban oasis"! The designers have buried contrasting Easter eggs everywhere: the impetuousness of the financial street vs. the coldness of the fusion of Sweden and Japan, the sense of history of the century-old building vs. the vigor of the young service team... On the third day, we finally had breakfast at Caveman Restaurant. The dishes were exquisitely served one by one, and it felt like a dinner ceremony! Although I didn’t feel full after eating the all-vegetarian meal, I was completely conquered by the design. Next time I come to Tokyo, I will come back to explore more details!
