🚶 How to get there (from Shiba Daijingu)
It’s about a 10-15 minute walk from Shiba Daijingu. Stroll slowly along the route from Daimon Station to Onarimon Station, passing through streets frequented by office workers, giving a real Tokyo city vibe.
If you prefer not to walk, you can take the Toei Mita Line from Daimon Station one stop to "Onarimon Station," then walk 5 minutes to reach the shrine.

📝 Personal thoughts
Atago Shrine is most famous for its nearly vertical "Success Stone Steps." Standing at the bottom, you might hesitate a little, but climbing up gives a strangely motivating feeling, especially with tall buildings on both sides, like climbing a quiet mountain in the city.

The shrine itself is surprisingly peaceful, and the small pond and garden behind the torii gate create a very relaxing atmosphere, offering a momentary escape from the city’s pace. There is also a "Success Horse" statue nearby, a popular spot for visitors to take photos and pray.

Overall, this is a spot that’s "tiring to climb up, but worth it coming down." If you have any work goals or turning points, visiting here for a prayer feels very ceremonial!
