[Zenkokuji Temple in Kagurazaka, Tokyo] Founded in the 16th century! A small temple enshrining the Seven Lucky Gods

#EnjoyJapan

I visited Zenkokuji Temple in Kagurazaka, Tokyo☺️

This is a Nichiren sect temple founded by the priest Nissho during the Azuchi-Momoyama period in the 16th century.

It enshrines the statue of Bishamonten, one of the Seven Lucky Gods of Shinjuku Yamanote, and is believed to bring good luck and ward off evil.

Although it is a small temple, it is located along the road and has a very open and welcoming atmosphere.

I recommend stopping by during your stroll around Kagurazaka☺️
