[Jakotsubo Shrine in Shinagawa, Tokyo] To the White Snake Deity of Tokyo

#EnjoyJapan

I visited Jakotsubo Shrine in Shinagawa, Tokyo☺️

This shrine was established during the Kamakura period.

It enshrines the White Snake Deity and Jakotsubo Dragon God.

The White Snake Deity is believed to bring blessings such as good relationships, rebirth, revival of energy, financial luck, recovery from illness, and purification of mind and body.

The Jakotsubo Dragon God is said to grant success in life and career advancement.

Passing through the large torii gate, you are greeted by the "One Grain Ten Thousand Times Statue" with a golden grain in the center.

Jakotsubo Shrine is located in a residential area, but the grounds are lush and open☺️

If you’re interested, please be sure to visit.
