There are several convenient transportation options when traveling from Shinjuku to Arakawa Asayama Park:
First, you can take the JR Chuo Line (Rapid) to Otsuki Station, then transfer to the Fujikyu Railway Line to Arakawa Asayama Park Station. The entire trip takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes, with a fare of approximately 1,500 yen. This is the most commonly used method, convenient and fast.
Another option is to take the Odakyu Electric Railway to Fujisan Station, then transfer to a bus heading to Arakawa Asayama Park. This route takes about 2 hours, with a fare of around 1,800 yen. The scenery along the way is quite charming, ideal for travelers who enjoy sightseeing.
Notes: It is recommended to check the timetable in advance, especially during peak hours, to avoid crowds. Make sure to bring enough water and sunscreen to enjoy a pleasant day!
Opening Hours: The park is open all day
Reminder: Please keep the park clean and respect nature and other visitors.
