[Tokyo Metropolitan Government Guest House Akasaka Palace] A splendid venue for diplomatic activities, also designated as a National Treasure.

#EnjoyJapan

I visited the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Guest House Akasaka Palace☺️

This palace was built in 1909 as the Crown Prince’s residence and is the only Neo-Baroque style palace architecture in Japan.

It is designated as a National Treasure and is also open to the public.

It serves as a venue for diplomatic activities, welcoming many kings, presidents, prime ministers, and hosting international conferences such as major summits.

Photography is prohibited inside the building, but the decorations were truly magnificent.

If you’re interested, please be sure to visit.
