Of course!
Shibamata, where the warmth of Tokyo’s downtown and the scenery just like in the movies remain.
We created a post for TRIP that has a story and makes you want to visit 👇

🎐【Tokyo, Katsushika Shibamata】
Time walks slowly here.
A place where you can hear the downtown breeze and Tora-san’s voice.
I felt like someone said, “Welcome back.”
Even though it was my first time here, it somehow felt nostalgic—
That’s the kind of feeling this town, Shibamata, gives you.
🚶♂️ As soon as you get off the station,
you’re greeted by statues of Tora-san and his sister Sakura.
This town, known as the setting of the movie "Otoko wa Tsurai yo,"
spreads out a landscape that feels like a time slip back to the Showa era.
🌿 On the famous approach street, there are shops packed with downtown flavors like kusa dango (sweet mugwort dumplings), rice crackers, and pickles.
Everywhere you go, small conversations and smiles overflow,
making it a street where you can feel the “warmth of people.”
And when it comes to Shibamata, you can’t forget—
“Shibamata Taishakuten.”
A temple with beautiful carvings, solemn yet friendly.
Walking around the grounds, a gentle atmosphere flows that makes your everyday worries feel a little lighter.
Nearby at Yamamoto-tei, you can enjoy a cup of matcha while gazing at a quiet Japanese garden.
**You can have a “slightly luxurious, relaxing time.”**

📌 If you’re tired of the fast-paced society,
why not practice “walking slowly” in Shibamata?
