Take the train from Taoyuan Airport to Longshan Temple, eat crispy pork, pray, and drink milk tea. Around noon, return to the airport to prepare for the flight to Tokyo. At 4 PM, arrive at Narita at 7 PM. Take a bus into the city and stay in the Ikebukuro area at an Airbnb, arriving at the accommodation by 10 PM.

Split up for sightseeing. My partner goes to Harry Potter, while I walk around Omotesando, Shibuya, and Harajuku, eat ramen, queue for I’m Donut, stroll Cat Street, then meet for dinner in Shinjuku. Use the green Yamanote Line train.

Go to Kamakura using the Tokyo Wild Pass 3-day. Travel from Ikebukuro Station to Kamakura Station. Buy an Edoden Line 1-day pass for 800 yen. Recommended stations: Hase Station, Kotoku-in Temple (Big Buddha) with an entrance fee of 300 yen, Kamakurakokomae Station, and Inamuragasaki Station. Spend the whole day sightseeing, then return to Tokyo for more city shopping.

Gala Yuzawa reserved seat. Board at Ueno Station, get off at Gala Yuzawa Station. Use Tokyo Wild Pass for skiing. Expenses include:
1. Gondola/lift ticket
2. Equipment rental if skiing
In the evening, eat dinner in Ueno.

Kawaguchiko Fuji, last day using Wild Pass. Plan carefully and book one month in advance to avoid no seats and long standing on the Fujiexcursion. Tour around Lake Kawaguchiko using the red line 1-day pass. It’s very crowded, so choose the last stop only, otherwise, there’s no bus back. Take the train back to Shimoyoshida Station for photos. The train is very cute.
Return to Tokyo and eat dinner in Shinjuku.

Everything is closed. Check out and leave luggage in a locker. #TravelTokyo Go to Tokyo Tower, take photos, walk around leisurely until noon, then return to Ikebukuro Station to catch a bus back to the airport.
At the end of the year, the weather is very cold, so prepare accordingly.
