• A representative green space of Tokyo, this 54-hectare park has about 9,000 cherry blossom trees, making it the best hanami (flower viewing) spot in spring.
• Start at the entrance and leisurely stroll to see ponds, fountains, walking paths, and food stalls selling bento and snacks.

🐼 Ueno Zoo
• As Japan’s oldest zoo, opened in 1882, it houses over 500 species including giant pandas, rhinos, and Komodo dragons.
• Open from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, closed on Mondays (or Tuesday if Monday is a holiday) and during the year-end and New Year holidays.
• Located in the northern part of the park, it’s easily accessible from JR Ueno Station and Keisei Ueno Station .

🏛️ Tokyo National Museum
• Japan’s largest national museum located inside Ueno Park, exhibiting about 120,000 items focusing on Japanese and Asian art.
• Features main exhibition halls (Honkan, Heiseikan, etc.) and gardens, enriching your historical and cultural walk.
• Generally open from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, last admission around 4:30 PM, a 5–10 minute walk from JR Ueno Station.

• The main campus of the University of Tokyo, accessible by bus (Gaku 01, Gaku 07) or subway and walking from Ueno Station, features impressive spots like Akamon (Red Gate) and Sancho Gate.

• About a 10-minute bus ride from Ueno Station, followed by a walking route.
