Meguro Gajoen|Accommodation + Kimono Dressing + Dining Experience

This experience can be described as "All-in-one": Stay + Kimono Dressing + On-site Dining. Pricing:
• Kimono Dressing + Dining: Approximately 10,000 TWD for two people
• Accommodation (Japanese-style suite): Approximately 23,000 TWD per night

🍽 Dining Experience
We opted for on-site dining (buffet style). As hotel guests, I emailed the hotel management staff in advance to make a reservation, and they arranged a private four-person booth for us. Seeing other guests seated in regular seats on the day made us truly feel the "exclusive treatment" and the respect they show to their guests.
The hot towel (oshibori) provided before the meal also matched the high standards of a fine dining restaurant.

👘 Kimono Dressing
The kimono dressing was assisted by professional elderly masters, and the process was extremely meticulous. From observation, it seems that mostly Japanese guests use this service, with almost no foreign tourists. Although they don’t speak much English, I was able to communicate smoothly using simple Japanese and even received "style coordination" tips. This kind of detailed interaction made the experience feel more authentic and local.

💗 Stay & Hospitality
The check-in process was very special, with a dedicated staff escorting us to a "dedicated floor" for check-in. We stayed in a Japanese-style suite, and after check-in, the staff accompanied us to the room, introduced the facilities one by one, and kindly checked if we had any additional needs.
I casually mentioned wanting ice cubes, and they even asked about my preferred "ice cube size." This level of attentiveness was truly impressive.

The room itself was well-equipped:
• Double massage bathtub
• Tea room space
• High-end bathroom amenities (yayoi)
• Edo Kiriko-style glassware
• Automatic sensor toilet
• Even an oven!
One small note: The minibar is charged separately.

🍷 Executive Lounge
The 24-hour executive lounge is highly recommended, offering different themed snacks and drinks at various times. The nighttime view is stunning, the clientele is of high quality, and the environment is quiet and comfortable. The staff, dressed in kimonos, included foreign women, creating a unique "global meets traditional" atmosphere.

🏯 Exclusive Tour
The hotel tour, exclusively for guests, was very impressive. You can choose between Japanese or English tours. The architectural and artistic details are mesmerizing, making it a truly immersive experience.

⚖️ Small Observations
Personally, I feel that being able to communicate in Japanese does result in more detailed care and interaction. For travelers who value service details, this is worth considering, especially given the amount of money spent 🥹!

Overall, Meguro Gajoen is not just a place to stay but an "immersive cultural experience" that combines traditional Japanese hospitality with modern hotel professionalism. Highly recommended for travelers looking to experience "accommodation + kimono + gourmet dining" all in one 💖
