The Sand Museum: a world recreated in detail with sand

The Sand Museum is located near the Tottori Sand Dunes.

The theme changes every season, and there are many impressive works, such as reproductions of historical buildings and the world.

It was very detailed and fun to see.

If you go to the Tottori Sand Dunes, it's worth stopping by!

From July 2022, there will be an Egyptian exhibition.

Please note that the museum will be closed for maintenance from January to February 2023.

Admission fee: 800 yen

Normal business hours: 9:00-17:00 (until 18:00 on Saturdays only)

*Last admission is 30 minutes before closing.

About 20 minutes by bus from JR Tottori Station.

There are taxi guides, but I didn't see many, so a rental car seems safe.
