Towada Art Center is a museum that is part of the AOMORI GOKAN Art Festival, which runs until September 1st.

The AOMORI GOKAN Art Festival is an event held at five art museums and art centers in Aomori Prefecture where you can enjoy contemporary art.

Towada is a city that has the concept of "urban development through art."

This art museum is located in the heart of Towada's art scene.

When I went there before, many of the works were under maintenance, so I went back for revenge.

Each exhibition room is separated as a "house for art," and the buildings are distributed around the site, and are connected by glass corridors.

The unique feature is that the buildings are connected by glass corridors.
The light that shines through the glass corridors is beautiful, and there are apple trees planted in the courtyard-like area, giving it a playful feel. ๐ŸŽ

The building was designed by Ryue Nishizawa, a member of the architectural unit SANAA, who also worked on the Teshima Art Museum. ๐Ÿ—๏ธ

There are many permanent works on display that you can see, touch, and feel, such as "Zobop," where the world of art spreads out the moment you enter the building, "Standing Woman," which is about 4 meters tall but looks like it will start breathing and moving at any moment, and "Bridge of Light," which looks like a tunnel and that you can actually enter. ๐Ÿ–ผ๏ธ
