Towada Art Center, located on Kanchogai-dori Street in Towada City, Aomori Prefecture
The outdoor space known as "Arts Towada" is the center of a project showcasing a variety of artworks, transforming the entire Kanchogai Street into a single art museum.
The museum's permanent exhibition features works by internationally renowned artists such as Yayoi Kusama and Ron Mueck.
The artworks are not only displayed in the museum's exhibition rooms, but also in various locations throughout the grounds, including the courtyard, rooftop, and stairwell.
Many of the permanent works are photographable, so you can enjoy them not only in person but also through photography.
The "Art Plaza" located across the street was completed in 2010 and displays works by international artists such as Yayoi Kusama.
