A historic pharmacy in Toyama [Japan]

Ikedaya Yasubei Shoten is a pharmacy located in Toyama City. It was just a few minutes walk from Nakamachi tram station. It was founded in 1830 during the Edo period. The store has a sense of history, but it still sells medicines, and in addition to medicines, they also sell herbal tea, candy, and paper balloons. You can also see demonstrations of how to make medicine and experience making medicine (free of charge). The staff were friendly and taught me a lot! It was too early when I went, so they weren't doing it, but you can also eat medicinal cuisine on the second floor. If you go to Toyama, please visit it. 🕰️Business hours: 9:00-18:00 📍Location: 1-3-5 Tsutsumimachidori, Toyama City, Toyama Prefecture #Japan
