Toyama City, Toyama Prefecture, Japan

I recently visited a friend's hometown in Japan, and it left a truly memorable impression. First, I want to thank my incredibly loyal friend for driving me to various scenic spots, including mountains and seas. Driving in Japan has its own insurance policy: insurance covers the driver, not the car, so even if I wanted to help drive, I could only admire the scenery from the passenger seat. I'd actually never heard of that city before arriving, and if my friend hadn't lived there, I probably wouldn't have had the chance to visit such a beautiful place. It's truly a place of breathtaking beauty, with beautiful mountains and rivers, fresh air, and breathtaking scenery. It's a true paradise, detached from the hustle and bustle (though you still have the basic qualities of city life!). My friend told me they go surfing in the summer and skiing in the winter, enjoying the changing seasons and the beauty of nature. For someone who grew up watching Japanese anime, this opportunity to experience the life of a local Japanese person was incredibly cool and moving.
