Simple Taiwanese Canteen in Tsuen Wan

It seems like I've been eating too well these days. I want to have some clean dinner! I saw this simple Taiwanese canteen and saw that there were quite a lot of people going there. I queued for a while and went in to try it!

Seeing that the lobby is quite simple, it is mainly matched by wooden furniture, even the servings are served with wooden trays!

🍡Three-in-one milk tea ($16 extra with meal)
At first I looked at the order paper, saw the name of the drink was thinking what is called three treasures milk tea, when I came to know that the three treasures are elixir, red beans and pearls! After taking a sip, I felt that the milk taste was stronger than the tea taste!

Super fragrant white peach flavor 😍😍 I didn't expect that there is no bitterness of oolong tea at the same time! I can also eat pieces of gelatin, which is very rich in taste!

I can tell that the tofu is made with hard tofu, the taste I think is relatively light, but the texture of the bite is very elastic, a bit like fish fillets!

🍡Spicy and sour soup (come with meal)
In fact, this one-person meal would include a soup or a dessert, but my friend and I were not interested in the dessert, so we chose this sour and spicy soup! From afar I can smell the sour taste of sour and spicy soup, the spiciness is relatively low! And it doesn’t cook too thick, so it’s pretty good!

The beef brisket was stewed very soft, and the sauce also went into the beef brisket. I think this dish appears more homely for a home-cooked dish in Taiwan!

There are three flavors to choose from in total, including pepper and salt, spicy and curry! And I chose the pepper and salt flavor this time! The pepper and salt chicken is very crispy on the outside, and every bite is crunchy, but the meat is a little old, but overall it's passable!

🍡Hand-Teared Taiwanese Chicken Rice (Add $18 with meal)
The rice is made of pearl rice, and it is topped with a lot of chicken. It tastes a bit like salted chicken! But the more I eat it, I don't know why it feels a little like salted egg yolk! Although it looks like a bowl of white rice, it actually has a lot of chicken oil at the bottom of the rice, so it actually feels quite fragrant!

🍡Stewed Pork Rice (Add $10 with meal)
At a glance you can see that the pork is very evenly half fat and lean, half meat, half fat! The stewed pork was also cooked to a very soft, juicy meat!
