Fukui Tsuruga One Day Trip

Tsuruga is a small town located on the harbor.
It is recommended to walk from the JR station to the port. There are arcades along the shopping street, so you don't have to worry about the sun.
You will pass by the large torii gate of Kehi Jingu Shrine. The torii gate is very conspicuous and you can't miss it.
For lunch, you can try the famous local European restaurant, which serves a generous portion of fried pork chops with sweet and sour sauce and lettuce salad.
Overall, Tsuruga doesn’t have any major attractions, but it’s a pleasant place to take a walk and experience the coastal town of Japan.
