[Uji, Kyoto] Enjoy the beauty of the Pure Land ✨ World Heritage Site

A World Heritage Site I've always wanted to visit

"Byodo-in Phoenix Hall"

This temple was founded by Fujiwara no Yorimichi!

It's a 20-minute express train ride from JR Kyoto Station and a 10-minute walk from Uji Station, so it's easy to get to🚶♀️➡️

When you walk through the approach to Byodo-in Temple and enter the temple grounds, you'll first see the Phoenix Hall, which is the same as the one on the 10-yen coin, as shown in the photo.

On a nice day, the reflection of the hall on the surface of the pond is beautiful and makes for a great photo, so be sure to aim for it☺️

In fact, there are many other things to see besides the Phoenix Hall, and the museum is interesting too!
The garden is also large and beautiful, so it was nice to stroll around😊

I also got a goshuin!
It's a fine piece of writing, isn't it✨
The goshuin stamps at all the temples and shrines in Kyoto are wonderful, so if you're planning to visit, don't forget to get one‼ ️

The total time required is about an hour

There are shops along the approach to the temple

I think this is the perfect tourist spot for those who want to go somewhere else from Kyoto city 🤗
