I came to Byodoin Phoenix Hall in Uji City, Kyoto on November 24, 2024!
I parked my car in a nearby parking lot and walked to Byodoin! !
It was the autumn foliage season, so the main approach to Byodoin was crowded with people, and there were various foods made with matcha, which is unique to Uji, and I wanted to try them all♪
There was a long line at the entrance to Byodoin, so I lined up there and bought a ticket! !
I was thrilled to be able to actually see the Byodoin Phoenix Hall engraved on the 10 yen coin! !
There is also a museum on the premises, and you can enter for free!
When I went inside, there were two phoenixes on display, and the guide said that there was a slight difference! !
The museum also had souvenirs, so I bought a charm!
☑︎Adult admission fee: ¥700
