Urubamba's Ensifera Hummingbird Garden, located in the Sacred Valley in Cusco Province, Peru, is the perfect place to observe hummingbirds.
Located at an altitude of approximately 3,200 meters, this facility offers the rare experience of observing hummingbirds up close in their natural habitat. ⛰️
They don't live in Japan, so if you have the opportunity, be sure to visit!
Observe a wide variety of hummingbirds 🌼
At this garden, you can observe over eight species of hummingbirds, from the sparrow-sized "White-bellied Woodstar" to the long-beaked "Sword-billed Hummingbird."
Observe in their natural environment 🌲
Watch hummingbirds fly freely and feed on nectar from flowers and feeders. Mornings are especially active, making them ideal for observation.
Access and Facilities 🚗
The facility is approximately a 3km walk from the village of Yanahuara in Urubamba. Enjoy the beautiful natural scenery along the way. Binoculars and observation guides are provided on-site, making observation safe and enjoyable even for beginners.
📅 Business Hours
Open daily from 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Hummingbirds are particularly active in the early morning hours.
Admission is 20 soles for general visitors.
