The first stop on your Xinjiang tour!!! Here's your photo guide to the Urumqi Grand Bazaar.

Grand Bazaar | A Dreamy Avanti Theme Park

Hey everyone, today I'm sharing a fantastic photo guide to the Urumqi Grand Bazaar! This place is like a giant Avanti theme park, with Avanti and nang sculptures everywhere you look. It's full of exotic charm and a must-see attraction in Urumqi.

Picture 1: Capture the Erdaoqiao Mosque between two brick walls.
Location: Between Buildings 3 and 4 of the International Grand Bazaar, at the revolving door entrance. Standing here, with the brick walls in the foreground and the Erdaoqiao Mosque faintly visible in the distance, you can easily take similar photos, creating a unique exotic atmosphere!

Pictures 2-3: Avanti with a thumbs-up and Avanti on the rooftop—simply fantastic!
When you see the Avanti sculpture giving a thumbs-up, you can almost feel his optimism and enthusiasm; while Avanti on the rooftop gives a sense of overlooking the world, making for a super photo op!

Picture 4: I ❤️ Xinjiang
Location: Opposite the Grand Bazaar Old Tea House. You'll see it as soon as you exit from Exit A of Erdaoqiao Station on Subway Line 1. Here, with "I ❤️ Xinjiang" as the backdrop, capture a beautiful moment with this land, preserving this love forever in your photos.

Picture 5: Giant Nang
Location: Right below the Avanti Building, where they sell nang. You can not only visit and take photos here but also taste fresh nang and experience its unique wheat aroma. It's truly amazing!

Of course, Jinquan Shopping Mall is also great! It's about a ten-minute walk from the Grand Bazaar. It offers a wide variety of ethnic trinkets at affordable prices, such as fridge magnets, bracelets, ornaments, hats, bags, and more. They make perfect souvenirs for friends and family, and it's so easy to get lost browsing there!
