St. Peter's Basilica

St. Peter's Basilica is an absolute must-visit when you're in Vatican City. The dome is already massive and majestic from the outside, but stepping inside left me speechless. Endless marble columns, sculptures, and golden decorations fill the space, while every inch of the ceiling and walls is covered with stunning artwork.

The highlight for me was Bernini's Baldachin above the altar. The black columns combined with golden embellishments create a mystical atmosphere, and when light streams through the stained glass behind it, the scene becomes truly awe-inspiring. 🕊️ The light fills the basilica, making you feel as if you've entered another realm.

Although the crowds, especially large tour groups, made it a bit challenging to explore, the grandeur and beauty of the place made it all worthwhile. If you're traveling to Italy, this is a destination you absolutely cannot miss. It truly feels like the pinnacle of global religion and art. 🙌
