Venice: A Labyrinthine City Floating on Water
Seeing Venice for the first time is like stepping into a watery dream. Built on a lagoon, this city is devoid of the clatter of traffic, only the gentle lapping of water and the leisurely passage of gondolas. With its crisscrossing canals and interwoven bridges, the city seems to float in time, brimming with an ethereal romance.
Walking into Piazza San Marco, pigeons swirl around, and the magnificent cathedral and bell tower gleam in the sunlight, as if narrating the glory of the millennia-old maritime republic. Turning the corner, you might stumble upon a bistro. Step inside, order an Aperol Spritz and a plate of cicchetti (Venetian snacks), and you could while away the entire afternoon.
As night falls, lights reflect on the water, the water ripples beneath the bridges, and the city sinks into a tranquil silence. Even if you're simply lost in a narrow alley, the chance encounter of an arched bridge or a rusty wooden door can stir your heart. The beauty of Venice lies not in grandeur but in an inimitable poetic quality.

📌 Traveler's Notes
Some say Venice is slowly sinking. Perhaps for this reason, every visit to this water city feels so precious. This is a city worth discovering by getting lost, because in Venice, getting lost is also a part of the scenery.
