The Austrian National Library (Österreichische Nationalbibliothek) is one of the largest libraries in Europe, located in Vienna, boasting an impressive collection of approximately 12 million items. It was originally built in the 18th century as the court library of the Habsburg family.

The opulent interior feels more like an art museum than a library, with stunning ceiling frescoes and intricate sculptures that captivate visitors.

The collected books are still preserved today. While they cannot be opened, visitors can marvel at the variety of books on display, including oversized volumes, thick tomes, and beautifully designed covers, making it a fascinating experience.
