Emerald Buddha Temple

Built in 2108 by the elder brother of the King of the Lan Xang Kingdom or Laos at that time, to be used as the royal temple of the royal family and to enshrine the Emerald Buddha that was invited from the Lanna Kingdom before. It is now a royal museum to welcome the general public to visit and study the history of Laos.
