Visit the Phra Kaew Temple and Wat Sisaket, the legend of Vientiane.

The Phra Kaew Hall is a beautifully carved wooden building. It used to be the home of the Emerald Buddha, but was moved to Wat Phra Kaew in Thailand. Now, a new principal Buddha image has been placed. Inside the Phra Kaew Hall, there are Tripitaka and cabinets with various antiques for viewing.
Wat Sisaket is a royal temple with ancient wall paintings, some of which have now faded away. There are Buddha images all around, both inside and outside the chapel.
📍These two places are close to each other and can be reached on foot.
