Cape Soya

Cape Soya, the northernmost point of Japan.

Unfortunately the weather was bad, but it felt like the end of the world and it was great😊

There were plenty of accommodations, souvenir shops, and restaurants in the area, so we enjoyed ourselves♪

I had an image of it being a place with bad weather, but that doesn't seem to be the case. If you search for photos of Cape Soya under blue skies, you'll find a lot of them. The evening and night views are also beautiful✨

I heard that on a clear day you can even see Sakhalin (Russia)!

Access: About 50 minutes by bus from Wakkanai Station. About 20 minutes by car from Wakkanai Airport
