Shaohuashan Park Forest, Xi'an | The most beautiful blue ice lake and ice waterfall around Xi'an

🏔️ Shaohuashan is located in Liujihe Village, Shaohua Township, Shaanxi Province, about 5 km southeast of the county seat. It is connected to Xiaofuyu in the east and Baishiyu in the west. The main peak is 1,664.4 m above sea level. It is called "Hua" because it is connected to the peaks of Mount Hua and is opposite to it, but it is lower than Mount Hua, so it is called Shaohuashan, also known as Xiaohuashan. Shaohuashan is not only a famous Taoist mountain in China, but also the sister mountain of Mount Hua, and is known as "Erhua" together with Mount Hua. Many poets and writers have written poems and articles about Shaohuashan. Wang Botang, a hero of the Sui Dynasty, gathered here, and many stories of Shi Jin, the nine-patterned dragon in the famous novel "Water Margin", took place in Shaohuashan. The site of the mountain gate and stone village can still be seen today.🏯

🚗: Depart from Xi'an, take the Lianhuo Expressway, exit at Huazhou, and follow the navigation. It takes about 1.5 hours to reach the parking lot. You can also take a bus from Xi'an Chengdong Bus Station to Huazhou District, then take a taxi to the scenic area, or join a one-day tour.

🚶Travel route: After entering the scenic area, take a bus to Shimen, where you can see ice hanging. You can walk or take an electric car, passing by the Ice Park, where you can play with snow tubes! Walk for 5 minutes to reach the ice waterfall and rose waterfall, where you can take photos. Walk for 10–15 minutes to reach the ice lake.

1. The temperature on the mountain is low, so wear warm clothes, hats, scarves, and gloves, and non-slip shoes.
