5.12 Wenchuan Earthquake Yingxiu Epicenter Memorial Hall 🕯😟

Stepping onto this land, once ripped apart by tremors, every brick and stone beneath my feet whispered. The broken skeleton of the school building silently pointed to the sky, the tilted clock stood frozen in that heart-wrenching moment, and the mottled cracks in the wall still bore the scars of pain that time has yet to erase.

We walked slowly, clutching chrysanthemums, pausing before the monument, our fingertips caressing the densely packed names—once children running in the sun, mothers busy at the stove, fathers sweating on the construction site. The moment we laid the flowers, the wind suddenly stilled, as if listening to this conversation across time and space: We remember, we never forget.

Green grass has grown over the corners of the ruins, and a new building is rising not far away. The pain has never been erased, but in remembrance, strength grows. This bouquet of flowers is a tribute to the rest of the dead, to the strength of the living, and to every morning and evening that rebuilds hope amidst the shattered.

📌Remain quiet and solemn. No laughing, joking, or loud noises are permitted. Respect the deceased and history.
📌Flowers are available for sale near the site. If you would like to leave a flower in memory, please purchase one. #TravelGuide #TravelExpert #TravelDiary #SichuanTravel #WenchuanEarthquake #Earthquake
