Morning
- Jiangxin Islet: Take B1 bus from Wenzhou South Station to Jiangxin Islet. The ¥30 ticket includes round-trip ferry rides. Known as the "Penglai of Oujiang River," it features historic sites like the East and West Pagodas and Jiangxin Temple. Stroll through the garden landscapes and soak in the millennium-old charm (2-3 hours).
- Zhu Ziqing's Former Residence/Southern Opera Museum: After returning by ferry, walk about 800 meters. The two sites are connected, with free admission (closed on Mondays). Learn about Wenzhou's cultural history here (around 1 hour).
Noon
- Mochi Lane/Mochi Park: Walk about 800 meters from the Southern Opera Museum. Mochi Lane is one of the 36 lanes from the Northern Song Dynasty, named after Wang Xizhi's ink-washing pond. Mochi Park embodies the charm of Jiangnan gardens—perfect for a leisurely stroll amid scholarly vibes (1-1.5 hours).
Afternoon
- Wuma Street: Walk about 800 meters from Mochi Park. This is Wenzhou's most bustling pedestrian street, featuring Western-style architecture, historic sites, and local snacks like Jinhong’s classic pork offal rice noodles and King’s oil cake. Shop and snack as you explore (1-2 hours).
- Xunshan Park: Walk about 1.5 km from Wuma Street. A viral photo spot—head to Shanhou Bus Station to capture the "past-meets-present" shot of Xunshan Pagoda and the World Trade Center (0.5-1 hour).
Evening
- Wutian Old Street: Take Bus 77 or 52 from Xunshan Park (about 30 minutes). This Chinese-style commercial street, built along the Wenrui Tang River, offers beautiful night views. Don’t miss the Wenzhou logo wall and local treats like almond jelly (around 2 hours).
