Weymouth Harbour and coast path (a short circular walk)

Starting at the library this walk affords fine views across the harbour and the marina. The ferry leaves here for the Channel Islands. In my youth I travelled to Jersey on the ship. Easier these days to get the fast catamaran. Much quicker.

Plenty to see and do for all the family. Great shopping and good pubs en route. As I write this synopsis we are well into autumn so expect a rain shower in places. Weymouth boasts a long beach and the affords plenty of opportunities for safe swimming and water sports. Currently a section of the footpath is closed due to essential path maintenance and roadworks.
