Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street is the longest pedestrian street in China, known as the 'First Pedestrian Street in the World', located in the center of Hankou, Wuhan, Hubei Province.
The 1.2-kilometer-long Jianghan Road, the most enduring sight, is a line of various architectural styles: European style, Roman style, Byzantine style, Renaissance, Classicism, Modernism... People say that Jianghan Road is the architectural museum of Wuhan in the 20th century.
The pedestrian street not only has various shopping malls and brands, but also gathers many small stalls and vendors, as well as a variety of internet-famous snacks, local snacks, and the crowded New Year flavor.
The places to eat during the New Year are really overcrowded. The famous restaurants around the pedestrian street have an average queue of at least 100 tables. You can take a number first and then go shopping.
I recommend the nearby Cheyu·Home Braised Wuchang Fish. The braised Wuchang fish is really superb. There is also Jiangcheng Swallow Big Stall (Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street Store) which is an authentic Hubei cuisine big stall, with affordable prices.
