A poetic habitat hidden among the mountains and lakes - an in-depth experience of Wuhan Ocean Village B&B

Driving into Husi Street in Jiangxia District, the end of the winding mountain road suddenly became cheerful. Ocean Village was like an ink painting scroll spread out before our eyes. As a beautiful leisure countryside in China, the 85% forest coverage and 13000 units/cubic centimeter negative ion content here instantly relieve urban fatigue. The family suite we stayed in was filled with bamboo forests outside the floor-to-ceiling windows, and it was like being in a fairyland.

The details in the villa highlight quality: the whole house underfloor heating and fresh air system ensures comfort all year round, the sunken living room is equipped with a mahjong machine and projection, children play between the tent bed and slide, and parents can enjoy tea and chat in the open-air garden. It is worth mentioning that each bedroom is equipped with a separate bathroom and smart toilet, and the parent-child room is more thoughtfully designed with a children's tent bed!

The dining experience is "idyllic on the tip of the tongue". The Chinese restaurant's Husi Tofu Corner is made with non-heritage craftsmanship, tender with bean flavor; the wood-fired stove chicken soup and freshly picked strawberry stewed ribs perfectly interpret the fresh concept of "from the field to the table".

During the two-day trip, we experienced the diverse businesses of Ocean Village in depth: hiking on the forest trails in the early morning, encountering foraging squirrels; in the afternoon, interacting intimately with lambs at the bear farm, making pottery and bamboo weaving; and picking seasonal strawberries in the dusk. The most memorable is hiding in the “Village Buck” cafe on a rainy day, a cup of hand-brewed coffee with freshly baked waffles, watching raindrops jumping among the magnolia flowers through the floor-to-ceiling windows, time seems still.
