Cameras can't capture the beauty of Wu Gorge.

It's hard to say which of the Three Gorges is the most beautiful. But Wu Gorge is definitely the most beautiful in winter, because it's the season of red leaves.

Plan at least two days to visit Wu Gorge. Longji of the Three Gorges, Goddess Sky Road, overlooking from top to bottom. Xiaohong Boat at the Ancient City Wharf, Xiaosanxia Cruise at the Yangtze River Ferry Wharf, looking up from bottom to top. Each of the four routes takes half a day. You can combine them freely.

It is recommended to go to Wenfeng Scenic Area to climb Longji of the Three Gorges in the morning of the first day. Take a taxi to the visitor center of Wenfeng Scenic Area, and walk a few hundred meters to the viewing platform. Then follow the Longji Trail all the way to the best place to see red leaves - Zhenshui Tower. Then walk down from Zhenshui Tower to the entrance by the Yangtze River Bridge. This route is the most time-saving and labor-saving. Mountain climbing enthusiasts can go the other way. But if you miss the direct bus to the scenic area at the visitor center, it will be very troublesome to get a taxi.

Have a Wushan grilled fish for lunch, and then take the 14:00 bus to Baolong Town at the Ancient City Wharf. CNY 15 per person. It's interesting to see the mountain you climbed in the morning on the boat. When you arrive at Baolong, you can take the Xiaohong Boat back to Wushan County at 16:00.

You can take a taxi to Goddess Sky Road Scenic Area in the morning of the second day. Don't forget to leave the driver's phone number and make an appointment for the return trip. The sightseeing bus and cable car on Goddess Sky Road take more than an hour to visit, and you don't need to climb the mountain. The glass plank road is close to Goddess Peak, which is quite shocking. After playing, you can take a taxi to take the Xiaosanxia Cruise as soon as possible. The waterway of Xiaosanxia is narrower than Wu Gorge. Personally, I think Wu Gorge is more spectacular when overlooking from the top of the mountain. But Xiaosanxia is more beautiful when taking a boat tour. It will be evening when you return from Xiaosanxia. Have a paper-wrapped fish, and enjoy it.

Personally, I don't think it's necessary to queue for hours at an internet-famous store. There are many grilled fish restaurants that have been open for more than ten years and are often visited by locals. Every one is delicious.
