Introducing Shennongding

Shennongding, the highest peak in the Shennongding Scenic Area, stands at 3,106.2 meters above sea level. Known as the "Roof of Central China," it is also the highest peak in Hubei Province. This pyramid-shaped peak is home to fir trees, alpine rhododendrons, and arrow bamboo. It is also home to golden monkeys, white bears, and Sumatran antelopes.

Shennong Peak, towering and majestic, piercing the heavens and holding back the clouds, stands proudly in Central China, earning its title as "Central China's No. 1 Peak." Snow blankets the summit, torrential rains, and heavy fog weave a thick veil that hangs overhead year-round, making its true appearance difficult to discern. Only in summer and autumn, when the clouds and mist part, can one stand atop the peak and gaze out across the vast expanse, taking in the myriad sights. At the summit, bare rock and towering stone forests shroud the sky, with no trees visible. Only moss and ferns carpet the ground, creating a scene of pristine wilderness.
