On a lovely spring day, we visited the picturesque Shimen Village and Moon Bay in Wuyuan. Though we missed the ideal bird-watching season, the serene beauty of the quaint village and the vibrant rapeseed flower fields in full bloom made our stroll unforgettable. The golden blossoms stretched endlessly, contrasting beautifully with the traditional white-walled houses and rolling green hills. Moon Bay’s tranquil river, curved like a crescent moon, added to the peaceful charm of the landscape. Despite not spotting many birds, we soaked in the calming atmosphere, enjoying the harmony of nature and rural life in this hidden gem of Wuyuan.
