Xi'an has such a beautiful and photogenic place!

● Location: No. 55, Xiaozhai Xingxian Temple West Street, Xiaozhai Road Street, Yanta District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province.

● History: It was built in the second year of the reign of Emperor Wu of Jin (226 AD), originally named "Zunshan Temple", and has a history of more than 1,700 years. It was built as a national temple by Emperor Wen of Sui, and during the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty, the "Three Great Masters of Kaiyuan" translated Tantric classics and promoted Tantric Buddhism here, and was revered as the ancestral temple of Chinese Tantric Buddhism. It was destroyed during the destruction of Buddhism by Emperor Wuzong of Tang, and was rebuilt several times during the Qing Dynasty to form its present scale.

● Important status: It is one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Xi'an, and was listed as a key cultural relic protection unit in Shaanxi Province in 1956, and as one of the key temples in China by the State Council in 1983.
I have passed by so many times and never went in for a good look, I recommend it to everyone.
