My second stay at Andaz Xiamen, and still absolutely delighted 💗
This trip was half work, half leisure, and I didn't hesitate to choose Andaz Xiamen again—conveniently located right above the subway with excellent transport links 💗
In early summer, Xiamen has a bit of a temperature difference between day and night, but the daytime brings gentle breezes and bright sunshine, painting the scenery in vibrant colors 💗
As a luxury brand under Hyatt, Andaz has locations worldwide, but Xiamen's Andaz stands out as arguably the best in China. From its design aesthetic to meticulous attention to detail—even the decorative books in the lobby exude sophistication (like original English and German editions on ukiyo-e history). Combined with Xiamen's relatively affordable luxury hotel prices, I firmly believe this is a must-experience property 💗
The hotel is incredibly generous—guests staying two nights or longer enjoy complimentary replenishment of minibar drinks and snacks 💗
This meant I could sip on chilled sparkling water all day, and by the way, the hotel's own craft beer is surprisingly good 💗
Just 300–400 meters away is Wenzao, Xiamen's culinary hotspot. I tried the famous Mingyue Shrimp Noodles, but personal preference still leans toward satay noodles. With work commitments, I didn’t explore much, but guests with time should definitely venture out for local adventures 💗
The hotel’s breakfast, gym, and pool are flawless. The 24-hour gym and pool (open until 10 PM) made post-work swims a perfect unwind 💗
A bonus? Our prime location allowed us to effortlessly secure a table at MixC Mall’s wildly popular second-floor hotpot restaurant, Shan Huan Huan, without waiting 💗
(Not sponsored—it’s genuinely delicious, like the latest evolution of hotpot.)
Loved staying here—will definitely return!
