Shen's House

This is the residence of a wealthy tycoon from Jiangnan. Even without English descriptions, you can easily grasp the details and opulence of this house.

Inside the residence, there are multiple rooms spread across several horizontal levels, rather than the vertical floors we see today. This layout reflects the immense wealth of the house's owner. The kitchen alone is larger than some entire homes.

The house also narrates the story of ancient trade through various metal artifacts, showcasing the process of transferring goods from large ships to smaller boats, inspecting merchandise, and trading items such as money, silk, and more.

A notable feature within the house is the display of images and silver pots, where visitors are encouraged to drop coins in hopes of attaining wealth like the tycoon himself.
