Before dawn, full of anticipation, I ran out; the beach was cool like scattered silver. Squatting behind the rocks waiting for the sunrise, watching the sky change from dark blue to pink-orange. When the first ray of light jumped into the sea, the waves burst open like golden foil, even the air shimmered with sparkle✨ An elderly man was practicing Tai Chi, his moves as gentle as the waves. Little crabs raised their claws to draw “Good morning” on the sand, so cute I wanted to sneak them home～​

Wearing a strawberry swim ring, splashing in the shallow water, waves “slap” against me, pushing me to sway like on a swing. The sandcastles built by kids were super fancy, decorated with colorful little flags. Sitting outside a beach bar, listening to a live guitarist, the singing mixed with the waves crashing “whoosh whoosh,” like a song without an ending. Ordered grilled oysters topped with garlic, fresh enough to make my tongue tremble🦪 Someone drew hearts on the sand with glow sticks; when the waves tried to mess it up, they protected it with their feet, playing tug-of-war with the sea. Even the stars came over to be the judges🌟​
