The new iconic building of the millennium imperial capital, Xianyang

Qingwei Tower is a historical witness and iconic building of the rise and fall of the ancient capital Xianyang, originally built during the Qin Dynasty, named Xianyang East Tower. During the Han and Tang dynasties, it was renamed 'Qin Tower' and 'Xianyang Tower'. The Northern Song Dynasty rebuilt the Xianyang Tower and renamed it 'Qingwei Tower'. Qingwei Tower has experienced vicissitudes and alternations of prosperity and decline, to the extent that it once completely disappeared. The restoration of Qingwei Tower has now led to the construction of an art gallery, integrating the art gallery with Qingwei Tower, making it the iconic building of the millennium imperial capital Xianyang and a city name
