The most beautiful ancient trail along the stream, a great place for playing in the water and escaping the heat in summer.
The Yanbang Eighteen Crossings is located in the canyon between Lijiaxi Village and Wochiyan Village in Xinchang County, Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province. The stream runs through the canyon and crosses the stream 18 times, hence the name Eighteen Crossings. In the old days, this was the route that private salt dealers took to avoid heavy taxes by traveling over mountains and rivers, so it was called the Salt Gang Eighteen Crossings Ancient Road.
We chose to walk two sections:
1. From Qingzhai Village to Lijiaxi Village, along the ancient Yanbang Road, it is about 5 kilometers long with an elevation gain of more than 200 meters.
2. Lijiaxi Village and Chiyan Village, along the Eighteen Crossings, with a total length of about 5 kilometers, it is flat and does not require climbing. It is necessary to cross the stream 18 times, two of which require wet feet. Depending on the weather conditions, it is recommended to bring spare items such as river trekking shoes, slippers, socks, etc. Many children had a lot of fun playing with water guns.

There are many supply points along the way, but they are mainly water, and the rest of the food is average. It is recommended to bring your own dry food
