Longdong Bridge, also known as Jianlong Bridge and commonly referred to as the Old Bridge, is located in a deep bay over 300 meters upstream of the present-day Jianlong Bridge in Longdongbao. Built in the early Ming Dynasty, the bridge spans the Longdong River amidst steep cliffs and dense shrubbery. It was a key crossing point on the Hunan-Guizhou post road during the Ming and Qing dynasties, serving as the eastern gateway to Guiyang.

Longdong Bridge is a three-arch stone arch bridge built of bluestone, facing east and west. Unlike ordinary stone bridges, it is a unique "S" -shaped bridge, narrow in the east and wide in the west. The bridge deck is flat and has no guardrails. The river water under the bridge is clear and you can see fish swimming.

The bridge is 64 meters long , 8.5 meters wide at the wide end and 4.7 meters narrow at the narrow end . It was built with ingenuity according to the shape of the mountain and the flow of water. It is a three-arch stone arch bridge formed by connecting a single-arch stone bridge with another double-arch stone bridge.
